Last week we took our annual week off for our anniversary.
This year we wanted to do something a little different. The past couple of years we’ve gone to Panama City Beach, and before that we were going to Las Vegas…which don’t get me wrong. I’d go back to Vegas right now if it were up to me! 😉 To celebrate year 6, we wanted to switch it up.
However, this year we thought maybe we’d to a bunch of day trips! So that’s what we did! We went to the county Fair, hiking at the Narrows of the Harpeth, and we canoed down the Harpeth River with Al! We also mosied around and went antiquing a few days, and while we only found a couple of things that needed to come home, we had a lot of fun. I also asked for the quintessential, not romantic gift of a vacuum, to which we had a faceoff between the old and new. Here’s just a little look at what all we did.
I did get some sewing in as well! Just a little bit here and there.

2/5 of the quilting done.
I hope you’ve all had a great week! This week is already too long for me.
Until next time, happy sewing!
