Halloween Plushies!

Something just a little spoopy for the funnest time of the year!

So, I love Halloween.  Sure, in the past few years it’s lost it’s luster; I’m not trick-or-treating age, I’m not going to house parties (I can’t believe I ever went to house parties) and I mostly just hand out candy, but I still love it!  I love decorating, I love the cute spooky things, hands down favorite big holiday.  (Actual favorite holidays: groundhog day and mole day 😉 )

This year I wanted to make something special, just for Halloween!  While I have a quilt in mind, I don’t have time to start another project, especially since I’m not starting new ones until I get my list in order for fall.

What could I make instead?  Halloween plushies!

I put a poll out on Twitter to see what kind of plushies people would want.  The options I gave were a pumpkin, a ghost, or a witch cat.  Witch cat won BIG TIME, so I got to work!

This spoopy cutie is about 15 inches tall and has a tiny witch hat, and is holding a little jack-o-lantern!  I absolutely love this little kitty, but I couldn’t just stop there!  I really wanted to make some more, so I did!

Oh man, pumpkitten!!!  This little guy is just SO cute!  He’s much smaller than the witch kitty (about 7 inches high), but oh god so adorable!  I am just overwhelmed with how adorable this little guy turned out!  I am going to have to make one of these for myself.

I’ve got a couple more brewing, but I just HAD to share these little guys!  I hope you’re having a great week, keeping your head up in these worrisome times, and just do your best.  It’s all you can do!  Until next time, happy sewing!
