Repair Quilt – ALMOST DONE!!!!
I’ve started going over the original quilting, which is more difficult than I originally thought, but I’m making headway. It’s probably close to 2/3 done.
Old Timey Baby Quilt
Same, just needs to be quilted and bound.
Star Wars Quilt
Same, just need to make the back.
Triangle Jellyroll Quilt
Same, still need backing, basting, etc.
I’ve gotten lots of the blocks sewn, and I’ve just got to keep sewing on them! 🙂
This isn’t a final color layout, this is just to get an idea of how many blocks I need to sew in each direction.
This…is just so many little triangles!!! Just have to keep sewing them together.
Splash Quilt – PROGRESS
I’ve finished blocks A, B, C and L. I’m working on block D currently. (blocks go from A – L so there are 11 blocks of varying sizes.) It’s a really big block (20.25″ x 28.25″) and I’m making this block particularly scrappy, not just log cabin-y and strips and squares. This new block is a lot of teeny bits and strips and all kinds of fun. It’s actually therapeutic just sewing seemingly aimlessly.
Cross Stitch Quilt
I’m not sure how I’m going to get this to top finished. There are hundreds (over 200) of these little X blocks to finish, it’s my least completed quilt so far. I’ve finished two blocks. :O
I’m giving myself a deadline of Winter, so December 20. I’m also going to be making plushies too, because hey, they’re my best sellers! 🙂 Anyway, if you want to follow along, I’m hoping to give maybe a bi-weekly update as I continue on my completionist mission. I’ll probably also start #finishitfall on my shop Instagram (@cutefluffinstitch) so you can keep up on a more frequent basis! 🙂 Feel free to join in and tag your photos #finishitfall I will appreciate the team effort!
Until next time, happy sewing!
