Handmade Nashville!

A look back at my weekend in Bellevue!

After the two events in a row rain out, I was thrilled to see that the forecast was calling for no rain!  I mean sure, searing heat, but no rain!

I got out to the Red Caboose park pretty early, and two of my guild friends who are getting into the craft fair game were there and helped me set set up! (and later broken down!)  I also had a very sweet booth neighbor’s son help me put all my plushies away on my box shelf.

I was very happy to be able to use my boxes for my set up again, and I got to hang up my little fishies (and sharks!) in bags! I also had my sloths hung up, but I’m not sure people noticed them, so I might try to hang them somewhere else next time.

Everyone got a big kick out of the giant sloth!  Lots of kids just wanted to hug him, a few people took pictures with him, and at least one child hit him.  Because you know…kids are weird.

Despite it being super hot all day, I did really well!  I made up for the past two events being rained out, which is really all I wanted to do, and then some.  I might be back out there this fall, we’ll just have to see!

I hope you’ve all had a great week!  Until next time, happy sewing!

Tell me what you think!
