Reflection on 2016 2.0

It’s so bad that I can’t quite kick it!

I have had a sinus infection for a couple of weeks now,  hopefully it’ll be gone by the time this goes up, but that’s not what I’m talking about!  I’m talking about 2016!!!!

This reflection won’t be quite as long, but I also want it to be discussed!  I have mentioned before about moving to just making quilts and stuffed animals, and I have reflected on 2016 in quilts.  Now I feel it’s only right to reflect on 2016 in stuffed animals!

I don’t know why I love making little, sweet, stuffed animals so much, but I really do.  They’re just so cute and precious.  I like to think little kids still have piles and piles of stuffed animals like I used to when I was young.  They’re the best secret keepers, pillows, and nondestructive play time friends.  Have I told you about the time I climbed a tree to save a stuffed animal lion that I had from a dog?  That’s how nuts I have always been about stuffed animals.

Nothing to see here!

So just in case there are still kids with mountains of fluffed friends, I want to add to their pile.  This year I made a few stuffed animals.  I wish I would have made more!!!  So in 2017 I am!  Here’s a look back at all the stuffed animals I made in 2016.

SO MANY DINOSAURS!  I’m sure that I’m leaving someone out, but do you see all of them?!  I have recently discovered a plush designer who makes these incredible patterns and I fully intend on making a bunch of these little guys to take with me to craft fairs.

I swear this is the last time I’ll talk about 2016! 🙂  I hope you’re all jumping into 2017 feet first and ready to run!  Until next time, happy sewing!

Tell me what you think!
